About the Author

Having spent most of her days in New York, Debra Canestraro currently makes her home in New Hampshire’s White Mountains. A retired school teacher, she now turns to writing as her means of enriching and entertaining young minds. Her aspirations have given birth to a recent arrival in children’s literature—Miss Winny Wee. The delightfully quirky protagonist in Debra’s three-volume holiday collection, Winny, is a kind pint-size witch who lives in Witches Notch.
