About the Book

“Where’s my grandma?” asked Jennie Bella. Jennie Bella lived with her family far away from her grandparents. Her brother and sisters didn’t seem to mind, but Jennie Bella watched her friends and neighbors with their grandmothers and decided to change all that. One day, Jennie Bella made up her very own crazy grandma. What a wonderful grandma she was. She was the best ever!

About the Author

The writer, Sandy Blanes, who now lives in North Dakota, grew up without her grandmothers like Jennie Bella. She and her family moved around a lot. Ms. Blanes hopes that her grandchildren will not be saying, “Where’s MY Grandma?” (even though she lives far away). She also wants all little children, who don’t have a grandparent, to find one, just like Jennie Bella.
