I wrote the poems to Mary just to show her how I felt about her and how special she is to me.

About the Author I am a truck driver. I drive a truck for a post office. Mary works at a truck stop where I go spend time. When I met her, it took me a year just to get her say hello to me. And I’ve been chasing her since then, and it takes a year again. This last summer, I asked her to marry me. She didn’t say yes but she didn’t say no either. She just said that she’s not ready. So, I’ll keep asking!
