The Golden Puppy

From a golden colored puppy born of an elegant thoroughbred under a fallen tree in a forest during the last of the autumn’s days. Snowed in to a magical winter wonderland our puppy gets lost while playing in the snow, rolling down a steep hill he finally stops looking like a big snowball. Discovered by a Kennel Keeper, the Golden Puppy is saved and loved and identified as a Great Dane, but as the puppy was so small he was named Danish, as he was too small the be called a Great Dane. Over the years Danish helped the WhiteCoat (Kennel Keeper) manage the dogs that came for a few weeks while their humans went on holidays, the strays, the dogs that came to have their puppies, and a strange little puppy that Danish rescued from a fast running river, and helped by a friendly willow tree, and his doggy friends, and of course a WhiteCoat who put the puppy in her pocket, much the consternation of Danish. The world is seen through the eyes of Danish whose education is what he sees and feels and is the right thing to do.
