About the Book

St. Agnes Home has been an ideal backdrop for the new life and environment of Teri Flynn and Russell Handel, two widowed octogenarians who manage to coalesce in peace in spite of minor differences. They have learned to easily fall in love, totally and enthusiastically, with no plans to separate any time soon—only after “death do us part.” And maybe not even then! Though their love intensifies on a trip from their city of St. Louis to nearby Chicago, the tangible beauty of their distinctive residence provides them with a congenial and inspirational space to share with happy friends and staff. It is the birthplace of a love rooted in mindful conversations.
