About the Book

This children’s book is a collection of three short stories that’ll appeal to young readers of age three to thirteen. Book has brightly colored illustrations and language appropriate for young readers. In the first story, the author brings a little girl and a cuddly dragon to life in a peaceful setting, builds up a little surprise, and ends the story with a nice message for nosey neighbors. In the second story, the author exposes the young readers to the scientific concepts of water cycle from the perspective of a very frustrated yet funny little water drop. I bet you can’t stop comparing your pouting toddler with the drop when you see its cute expressions. In the third story, the author transports her readers to a magical candy land filled with bright and vibrant colors as she gives a small tour of her vivid imagination.

About the Author

Sanjana Thesayi was born in 2010. She is an avid reader who enjoys drawing and watching Pokemon. She wrote her first story - Yogini and the Dragon, when she was a little over 4.5 years and created her own sketches for her characters. Although it wasn’t ready for publishing back then, she kept writing several other short stories.

She says “I love to draw. If I do not draw everyday day, I will freak out.” When she is not reading, drawing or playing her keyboard, she dresses-up her little brother as a super hero, bakes (and makes a lot of mess to clean up afterwards) with her mom and gives her dad a nice hair-do (but of course for a small tip). When she grows up, she wants to become a pop star, a salon owner, a baker and a fashion designer. She is currently working on her comic series and hopes to publish it before she turns 10.
