About the creators [TEXT] Martha Martin lives and teaches in Savannah, Georgia with her husband, Stewart, three dogs, two cats, and a rabbit. When she’s not wearing her teaching hat, Martha wears her getaway hat while vacationing in western North Carolina with her family and friends. Heather Elder is an advertising copywriter and illustrator born and raised in Georgia. When she’s not wearing her writing hat, Heather dons her drawing cap while doodling her plans for a better world.
