“The Big Game” follows the adventures and excitement of a baseball game between the rag tag, semi-talented team of The Forestville Nine, against the very polished and very skilled team , The Woodchucks. The character’s true colors come to life as they ponder how to compete with the mighty Woodchucks, or worse, how to deal with defeat. Follow each players story as the excitement builds to an unexpected ending and how the game, like life, has a moral to it. “The Big Game” is the first of series you won’t want to miss.

About the Author

“The Big Game” is Don’s first venture into the realm of children’s books. His previously published works is in poetry. The idea to start writing children’s books come from his three grandson and their everyday antics. Although poetry and science fiction are two of his interests, the author enjoys the characters in his stories so much he decided to do the children’s book first. Hopefully, “The Big Game” is the first of many more to follow.
