About the Book

Vanessa Nox had a life of any normal teenager. A train ride to her father’s “workplace” changes that. Vanessa and her sister Abigail realize that earth isn’t the only realm. They meet up with a variety of creatures, both friend and foe, in a world called Terra. Vanessa discovers that not only is Terra her real home but she is also the princess of the elves. Together, Vanessa, Abigail, and an elf named Rex help save Terra against powerful villains that control not only the shadows but also what lurks in them. Between joy and betrayal, Vanessa finds not only can she save the elves but she can also lead them.

About the Author

Sophie evans was born in California and now lives in Northern Idaho. As an active thirteen-year-old, she enjoys swimming, skiing, fishing, knitting, horseback riding, and reading. Being an avid reader, traveling around the world, living on a farm, and having a deep-seated interest in people fuel her imagination. Writing became her creative outlet when she was eleven. Never intending to publish a book, she began by writing down notes, which became paragraphs, turning into the pages that filled this book.
