About the Book

Hi to all you great poetry book readers; here is a book with a difference – profile poems of famous people. I started doing poems of famous people and have kept an eye out for any special occasion these people have had to mark with a special profile-like poem and have done many over the years. I have sent each of them a copy of what I did for them and all who replied expressed pleasure at what they read. Enjoy reading the large selection in this book. Paul Wilkins

About the Author

Paul was born in Preston in 1968. Although half Welsh with his mother coming from Bangor, he has relations in North Wales and is a frequent visitor there. His interests include art, badminton, and creative writing – inclusive of poems, hymns, carols, lyrics and affirmations. He started his creative writing skills in the mid 1990s and this has developed well despite having no sign of this when at school. He lives near Preston, and currently works in the Civil Service; though he has many other ambitions outside of work. www.johnpaulyoung.org.uk
