About the Book

Regi’s Refl ections are exactly that! An enlightening and inspiring collection of heartfelt poems. These are emotionally provoking thoughts and observations, on the diffi culties Regina has faced in her life. This poetry addresses issues inherent to being human, such as addiction, anger, depression, parenthood, and life in general. Although these poems discuss dark times, they end with an optimism that leaves you feeling encouraged. Infused with an ‘Aussie’ sense of humour, this poetry is extremely relatable, subtly sweeping you toward a sense of hope .

About the Author

Born in Innisfail Queensland, Regina spent her formative years growing up in Mt. Druitt, in the Western suburbs of Sydney. Her mother was born in Cairns and her father in Maryborough. Regina has since returned to Queensland, and now lives with her two lovely daughters in South East Queensland. Regina has been on both sides of the counselling table throughout her life. Escaping Westie-hood at 17, she dragged herself through addiction and depression in her 20’s. She then attained a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in psychology, in her 30’s. Writing comes naturally, as she uses it to express, make sense of, and deal with hard times.
