About the Book

In this long-awaited follow up from Pickles My Wonderful World, we learn about the changes in Pickles's life. The changes in his world and the fears we all face growing up. In this book, Pickles shares the experiences of working with animals, how his friendship with Sydney grows, his first encounter with death, how it feels to be brave even when you are really scared, how it feels to not understand the people around you, and what it is like when you listen to others instead of following your heart.

About the Author

By the summer of 2003 Kim's health is getting worse, but being as stubborn as Kim can be, she does everything in her power to make life normal for Pickles and herself, well as normal as life can be. Kim allows Pickles to explore his world around him but really all she wants is to have his love to keep her going every day. Knowing her disability is getting worse and finding it hard to come to terms with her deteriorating health.
