Follow Your Assignment and Purpose
God Has His Own Plans. People might make plans for you, you might make plans for yourself, but God has His own plans. We should never berate ourselves because we feel we didn’t follow the right plan. For the plan we eventually take is the plan God had for us and will likely take us to our destiny. I can say that if only I had followed some other plan for my life, it would have been better. But the plan I eventually followed was the one to lead me into my destiny, because God ordered this plan.
When I experienced trials, tribulations, storms, and obstacles, it certainly didn’t seem like God would ordain such a plan. But the Almighty God doesn’t make mistakes, and He knows what He is doing. He has it all set up for your growth and development. His plan will get you to where He wants you to be.
The Almighty God knew you before you were conceived. He knows the number of hairs on your head. He knows what you will do and when you will do it. It makes sense that He has a plan for you and will steer you in the direction of your destiny. No matter what, His plan is the ultimate plan. He is all-powerful, all-seeing, and all-knowing.
Developing One’s Conscious Level. I often wondered though, if God makes plans for us, why didn’t He make a better plan for my grandparents, my parents, my siblings, and maybe some other relatives and significant others. The answer probably lies in the fact that we must put forth the necessary effort and exercise our own will for God’s plan to come to fruition. If our conscious level is not developed and we do nothing to bring about God’s plan for us, we may simply blow in the wind like a dandelion seed and settle anywhere. People tend to follow set patterns of conditioning and fail to pursue their assignment and their purpose. If we never increase our conscious level, and try, we will settle anywhere like that dandelion seed.
Staying in Line with God’s Purpose. My parents were severely conditioned and never made much of an effort to get out of their circumstances. My brothers and sisters simply followed the principles of inertia. The same situation existed for most of the people in my neighborhood. If one is to be in line with God’s plan, he or she must figure out at some point in life what is his or her assignment and purpose. Then he or she must follow this assignment and purpose. One must develop this assignment and purpose. My parents had a slave’s mentality, and a slave has no freewill. They passed this conditioning on to their children. They were never able to develop their conscious level so they could even pursue their assignment and purpose. But the nature of the universe is that things work out for the best, like the Almighty God intended.
Regardless of the situation, I’m just happy to be alive, and happy to still be a man of my word. In the end I’m still blessed. I’ve been undernourished but never starved.
