There can be few more enjoyable times for adult and an adored child, than sharing a lovely day outdoors, and going for a walk together. The world greets us with sunshine, blue skies, fresh air and trees – it is enlivening, yet relaxing – and whether 46 years or 6 months of age, we share the delight of our wonderful world! This book captures the simple bliss of going for a walk on a lovely day, with a child who shares this joyous affinity. I hope that such precious times are again realised for those reading, and being read to, and that those shared joys can be revisited once more.

About the Author

Angela Evans is an adult, who despite having ‘grown up’ some time ago, remains very much young-at-heart and can relate easily to ‘Peter Pan’ and young children. Much time in bed as a sickly child, gave this author the opportunity to become immersed in books and stories, befriending many of the characters along the way, and discovering the sheer joy that reading can provide from a young age. Although working in areas of science and research, the author likes to have balance between left and right brain activity, very much akin to Einstein’s observation that ‘imagination is more important than knowledge’, and very much more fun!
