About the Author

My name is Christopher M Warren; I was born in Tasmania in 1962, to French parents. (Jocelyn and Francis.) I then left Tasmania with my mother and two brothers at the age of nine to resume living in South Australia. We shifted house and changed schools about four times in order to find a place to settle. So as a subsequence this played havoc with my education. When twelve, I attended Adelaide Boys High School. (As it was known then.) Where I studied all the subjects that were of interest to my growing young mind. These included such things as: Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Biology, Art, Metalwork, Plastics and woodwork. I was not the highest achieving student, (pretty average) and was considered to be the ‘class clown,’ but I loved these subjects with a passion so strong that I have never stopped studying them for one day since. (I always look at things from a scientific point of view.) After leaving high school I served an apprenticeship as a furniture upholsterer. This is how I made a living. (I was also a rifleman in the South Australian Army Reserves for about three years.) But my career interests lay in becoming a boiler maker welder. This I studied intensely as well as attending night school classes to learn how to weld. (TIG, MIG and stick.) I have since worked on a lot of interesting projects in and around South Australia. My book is mainly about things that I would like to have read when growing up, and its stories are short and straight to the point, because I never did like to read much due to books always dragging out their stories to the point of boredom. I hope you enjoy it. “Best wishes.” Christopher.
