About the Author

Sonja Emerson and Joye Sheppard are first cousins. Both were born in Adelaide – South Australia. Sonja is a mother of four with grandchildren – lives in Adelaide and writes poetry for fun. Joye – the ilL ustrator – also has grandchildren and lives in the northern town of WhyalL a. This is a photo of them together as children and was taken in 1948 at the beach suburb of Semaphore. We trust you enjoy this fun story.
