About the Author

Michael Preston was born and raised in Finglas West Dublin. He is the youngest of a family of six girls and two boys. His father William (Willie Joel was from the West of Ireland and his mother Patricia came from the Liberties area of the city. Michael has worked in various jobs including Iranrod Eireann (following his father’s footsteps) and on building sites both here and in London. He now resides in the Ballymun area with his partner and their four children.
