Perspectives

About the Book

This is a book of poems, which have been written over a large span of my life, starting over 40 years ago, to the present day.

As the title states, many of these poems are perspectives of my life or life around me

I have grouped them into sections, with a short preface on each section.

About the Author

I am 65 years of age, and I am an everyday housewife and mother. I have two wonderful children and two beautiful grandchildren. Since I was a young child, you would always find me with my head buried in a book. I was fascinated by words, and how they could bring things alive for me. I started to write poetry when I was quite young, and had my one of my poems published in our school magazine, which was many moons ago. I then had quite a long period when writing took a back seat, and it was not until my early fifties, that I felt inspired to write again, it is since than that I have written most of my poems.
