This book is an accumulation of poems and prose which attempt to raise a smile and sometimes may provoke thought. It should, however, not be taken too seriously.

About the Author

Born in Gloucestershire, I have now spent over half my life in Monmouthshire. My first Schools were in Monmouth and I continue my education there today. I am fortunate enough to live in the Wye Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty which more than compensates for not having a mobile phone signal, terrestrial TV or the additional problems in obtaining planning permission for replacing a garden gate! I qualified as a Medical Practitioner many years ago and still continue to have an active practice as an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist. I love my job, my family and my life and thus am the most fortunate of men. How many of us are able to be paid for doing something we love? This book is an accumulation of poems and thoughts written over many years, primarily for me, my family and friends but I do hope they manage to bring a smile to any others who are rash enough to read them.
