About the Book

“Perfect the I am” is the story of a disgruntled Ladybird that is tired of the same old red wings and wants to find a new colour that she thinks she’d be happier with. She sets out on an adventure around her garden home find her new colour and has lots of clever ideas on how to achieve her goal. However, her perfect colour doesn’t turn out to be what she thought, and Lotty learns to be accepting that sometimes, things are better the way they are. Lotty brings a message of positive self-image in a memorable story with unique twists and turns, which encourages children to be happy with the way they are.

About the Author

Hollie Brown was born in 1986 and grew up with her parents and two sisters, sharing a happy childhood. After school Hollie attended Dartford North West Kent College to study childcare, and developed a flare for working with children which ultimately inspired her to write this book, after working with hundreds of different children and their families within nursery, pre-school, school and home settings. Hollie is also a great lover of wildlife and enjoys being around a variety of different animals.
