The Adventures of Timmy and Jay

About the Book

The story begins on a beautiful day, when everything and everyone seems to feel wonderful—except Timmy. He feels that nobody wants to befriend him, so he sits alone, lonely and gloomy. Unknown to Timmy, another duck named Jay notices him and decides to keep him company. As they converse, Jay finds out that Timmy is blind. Because he can’t see, flying is not possible for him. Luckily, Jay comes up with a great idea. Like Timmy, he has always wanted to fly, but his broken arm makes it difficult for him. What sort of adventure will they get into?

About the Author

About the Illustrator Catherine Pineda is a talented young artist who is making a name for herself in New York City. She is nineteen years old and already has received many awards for her paintings and drawings. She is currently working on finishing her undergrad. Catherine also enjoys reading, music and art. About the Author Edvin Rustrian is a musician, teacher, composer and musical director. He was born in Guatemala, Guatemala. He came to America at age eleven. His mother worked hard so he can have a good education. Edvin lives in New York City along with his wife Betsaida and daughter Faith Elyse. Edvin enjoys literature, theater, sports and music.
