About the Book

All of Me: The S Files is a compilation of poetry written by author, performance poet and slam artist Shanya Perkins also known in many spoken word venues as Lady S. This book offers several riveting stories written in a poetic format. Included is an exclusive collection of photos and art that bring the poetry to life. The book brings a unique view of life that reflects a personal insight of society, love, heart break motherhood and other realistic stories seen through the eyes of a teacher, social worker, mother and poet, Lady S.

About the Author

Shanya Perkins also known as Lady S. by many people in spoken word venues was born and raised in Philadelphia PA. After graduating from high school in Philadelphia as Shanya Speller she moved to Fayetteville NC receiving her Bachelors’ degree from Methodist University and her Masters’ Degree in Sociology from Fayetteville State University. She has always had an interest in poetry as an outlet, a goal, a blessing and a gift. She has made great strides in the poetic community writing a collaborative book “Raven for Change”, she has a spoken word compilation titled “Breathe Deep Think Deeper” and has traveled to slams and venues all over the US. Shanya married Johnell “Elohn” Perkins Jr. and has become a mother she is now presenting “All of Me: The S Files” as a poetic expression that will take readers on a journey through the eyes of Lady S.
