The English name Jeannette, Native American name Wan-dose (just before dawn) was born on the Onondaga Nation Territory just south of Syracuse 69 years ago. Writing this book was inspired by a Clanmother that a book should be written about the modern day problems facing the indigenous Native American people, native against native, tribe against tribe.
