About the Book

This exposition attempts to examine some of the phenomena surrounding a Big League manager. It admits to possibly a plethora of contradictions, errors or other literary or logistical screw-ups. I adjure the indulgence of those much maligned guys who are presently holding or who have held the mace of field manager, or coach, the dedicated sophisticated fans, and players who may find some of my work objectionable. I desire to present the truth as best I can, in an objective and helpful way in deference to a noble enterprise.
