About the Author
Neal Powers is a prodigal son. This album records some of his adventures as a Christian. His misadventures are chronicled elsewhere. He lives in O’Fallon, Missouri with his wife, Mary. They have four daughters, now grown, who taught him about some of the social issues confronting young women today. That’s why he cares about Roseline and Jumitte Louis. They are determined young women who have managed to survive in Haiti without parents. Convinced these two have been without a family long enough, Neal and Mary opened their hearts to them and became their surrogate “Mama and Papa.” Retired and active in his church, Neal is one of 21 Opinion Shapers who write for the St. Charles Journal. None of his former roles matters much any more — artist, salesman, Air Force officer, flight instructor, pilot, simulator instructor, FAA Aviation Safety Inspector, aircraft accident investigator — all these are affairs of the world. In recent years his thoughts have turned to matters of the soul. Now he spends his time reflecting and writing. This book is one result.
