About the Book
An articulate, bright, and passionate woman with three adult children and four grandchildren, Ann Stout has a lot to say about the complexities of marriage, motherhood, and scholarship. A Ph.D. in psychology, she is completing a study she has been involved with for many years.
Her story begins in 1916, in a pre World War One America. The daughter of Alexander Meiklejohn, the well known educational philosopher, and the one time president of Amherst College, Ann's childhood fostered the intellectual pursuit she continues to this day. The events of her life are paralleled with the events of the world. We follow her unconventional life up to our present day political climate. She is revealed by her life's work and her life story; Annaletta, is a portrayal of Ann Stout in collaboration with Marti Zuckrowv.
