The Wolfhounds: Rise of the Lynx

About the Book

Charles Bane is an above average teenager who lives within the shadows until he discovers an enormous secret the night of his eighteenth birthday. Once exposed, the truths that were kept concealed from him by his parents, leads him down an entirely new path. He creates an alliance with a fantastic breed of genetically altered humans (the wolfhounds) created with the intent of hunting down the deadliest of beasts, werewolves. However, the werewolves prove to not be his biggest feat. A super-powered feline assault team known as the Lynx, headed by the cold Annabelle Lockheart, presents him with the biggest challenge of all. His mission, along with the help of the other wolfhounds, is to rid the world of them and to destroy the villainous Lockheart´s plan of creating a heinous DNA database.

About the Author

Daniel D. Horne is a native of Jacksonville, Florida. Horne graduated from the University of North Florida with a B.A. in English. From there he went on to teach Language Arts to students at a local middle school. Though Horne has always had a deep interest in writing it was as a kennel attendant that he developed the idea for his first novel, The Wolfhounds Rise of the Lynx.
