About the Book
I would like for this to be one of the 4 pages because it is a source of encouragement for those who are depressed. Depression has many levels and degrees. There are no similar cases of depression. Everyone depression is very different. It follows the same pattern as the blood types to a certain degree. There are no individuals who has the same blood type. The blood is what makes the individuals unique because there is a world of it own. I experience many things when I was depressed. There maybe some today who may have similarities to me. It was very difficult to deal with because many do not understand depression. So therefore, they do not know how to encourage or to point to a direction for assistance. I experience some of the cruelest remarks such as “snap out of it, it’s all in your head, you want attention, and you can do better.” I will tell the whole world when you are experiencing depression that is enough of a punishment alone. Because of such cruel remarks and being criticize constantly. I began to travel in the world of paranoia, fantasy and Psychosis. It is easy to create worlds that do not exist when you are not functional in the world that you live in. There are some who may read this book and decide they need help. Depression is a sad beginning and it can have a happy ending. I had a team helping me to deal with my depression. One of the greatest things I had I feel going for me was my faith. I had a very loving and kind counselor who help me to see the direction I needed to move in. Whatever accomplishment I made no matter how little it was he was very happy and was always there to furnish encouragement One of the most important things for me that help me to survive an avalanche of trials was to surround myself with positive minded people. Negative minded people are crushing and will fill you with a mental disabling poison. I could not believe how cruel people can be especially when they think they have all of the answers and never experience depression. I am confident these poems will help some individuals who are struggling in the sands of depression or who maybe feeling a little blue fro time to time.
Look to Tomorrow
I feel this is also a faith-strengthening poem because it is motivational. Sometimes as humans, we do not always have the expected results when we engage in pursuits. I experience so many failures and set backs. It was almost like I was living with Myprhy’s law. Everything that can go wrong will go wrong. It is a heartache beyond human expression to be crushed by continual failures. I had to develop an outlook to deal with the many disaster that were on going. It is tragic to fall alone but much worse when you look to the wise to help. When their counsel turns out to be a nightmare of an ongoing kind. When I began to look at things in a different light especially looking toward the next day. Events in my life took a turn for the best. I discover that a good night sleep can work wonders when you think positive before retiring for bed. I developed endurance and a will to smell the flowers, enjoy the sunset wallow in the grass, and to be happy. It did not take any effort to be unhappy. So I tried very hard to do thing that did not take much effort but at the same time it was making me feel good. Many times the things I did were very simple and basic. I would read the bible on a regular basis and that was giving me hope. When I assisted a neighbor, a friend, or a stranger I found joy in doing so. When I experience the worst set backs I would retrace my steps and discover the mistakes I made. Sometimes it is a minor thing. But even at that the smallness of it did cause problems that was sometimes hard to fix and at other time impossible to fix. So when I tried to think in a different way and to work in a different method things begun to improve and to stabilize. We cannot stop the birds from flying over our heads but we do not need to let them build a nest in our hair The p
