About the Book
A series of unfortunate events leave their impression upon the author as he retraces memorable moments at various stages in his youth and early adulthood. An appetite for sex, an insatiable thirst for liquor, and a lackluster relationship with his father lead him to A.A.
Vexation returns after ten years sober, and he finds himself in contention, once again, with drink and his Dad which, after a few years, leads him back through the familiar doors.
He realizes the importance on finding and depending on faith, but in midstream (9/11/01) that faith is spooked and he plunges into history and lucid insight.
About the Author
Upon finding that a common pair of metal tweezers fit, with only the slightest of coaxing, perfectly into an electrical outlet, the endless stream of quizzical “Why’s” of his youth were instantly introduced to supplementation with firsthand, empirical discovery. Mike Donally continues to be driven by a guileless and somewhat more cautious curiosity towards life’s enigmas, despite society’s somewhat indolent subscription to the status quo. Compassion gives him the courage to continue searching for his station in life, whether there is one or not. Humor provides Mike release from being otherwise over tempered by the insatiable quest to find reason in the onrush of worldly happenings.
