About the Author

Well-credentialed on stage and screen Clifford David has starred in a number of high profile Broadway musicals and shared the screen opposite legendary icons of entertainment. He was featured in the principal casts and soundtrack albums of hit Broadway musicals such as 'Wildcat' with Lucille Ball, '1776', 'On a Clear Day You Can See Forever' and Andrew Lloyd Webber's 'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat'. His extensive theater credits include 'The Aspern Papers', 'Camino Real' with Al Pacino, 'Caligula', 'Joan of Arc' with Dorothy McGuire, 'Nine' with Raul Julia', to name a few. He appeared in Joseph Papp’s production of 'Hamlet' in Central Park and has starred regularly in many regional theatre productions. His feature film credits include M. Night Shyamalan's 'Signs' with Mel Gibson, 'The Exorcist III, Matters of the Heart' with George C. Scott, , 'Fort Apache; The Bronx' with Paul Newman, 'Resurrection', 'The Betsy' with Lawrence Olivier. Television viewers have seen him in productions ranging from the mini-series 'Blind Ambition', to political dramas 'Fear on Trial', and 'Missiles of October', to episodic dramas and comedies such as 'Bonanza', 'Charlie's Angels', 'Mary Tyler Moore', 'Murphy Brown', 'Party of Five', 'Murder, She Wrote', 'Will & Grace', 'Law & Order; Criminal Intent' and many more. Clifford co-directed and co-starred (with Tommy Perna) in the internationally acclaimed short film 'Changes of Distance'. He is also fondly remembered for his portrayal of Beethoven in the hit comedy 'Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure'.
