About the Author
Ron Thompson was born in Thomasville, Georgia, in 1949. At age four, he and his mother moved to Pennsylvania. After high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Army and service his country from 1966-1968. Later he attended a technical school and became a machinist. He worked at the shipyards in VA. and on turbine engines in NJ. Ron became a correction officer from 1975-1993 at Trenton State Prison. During that time, he married, had two daughters and became a successful investor. Because on one bad decision, he is spending the rest of his life in a long-term care facility.
