About the Book

This is a story about a little porcupine who is picky about what he likes to eat. Most children have things they don’t like to eat, but as they grow up they discover new foods …and they even eat food they would never eat as a child …just like Picky Ricky the Porcupine!

About the Author

This is Carol Reid's second children's book. Her first was "Spook-ee Wook-ee Halloween." She began writing stories, poetry and lyrics as a child. She loves children, especially telling and reading them stories. She is founder and current president of The Ontonagon Theater of Performing Arts, a professional photographer and past editor-publisher of an industrial in-house newspaper. She loves music, playing the Keyboard, reading, writing, playing golf, poetry and Lake Superior Sunsets. Having traveled through-out Europe and the United States, she has come full circle back to where she was born, Ontonagon, MI., a little town nestled on the shores of Lake Superior.
