''Love Letters to Jesus''

About the Book

This is a story about a young lady, and how she becomes motivated to write about the trials and tribulations of her life as it unfolds. After a long night at work, she sits and writes down her thoughts of joy and sorrows to Jesus, in the form of a letter. At first, she admits to herself that it felt strange, even foolish. There were many times she wanted to give up as she felt the pressure and frustration, but God would not allow the devil to distract her from the true purpose and desires to complete the book that she started two years ago. Many nights as she attempted to finish the task that God has set before her, especially when the devil came in by using her neighbor to discourage the sale of her property. Just when she gave up, God stepped in and the property sold in less time that it normally takes to sell and for a larger profit! Praise the Lord! She wanted to always make sure that she gave thanks to God no matter what is going on in her life at the time. The letter began to change the way she looked at her life and the way she felt about her life. She felt relieved and refreshed after writing each letter. She felt the guidance of the Lord and her prayers were answered instantaneously! It was somewhat frightening as she developed a routine and continued to write as she was led by the spirit of God, which developed, into letters to Jesus. She arrived at the understanding that God knew exactly what he was doing when he made her. With the help of the Almighty God, He gave her the gift to encourage others to create beauty, and once people recognized their own beauty, everything else just falls in place!

About the Author

Felicia LaGrant is an African American woman who was born in Sumter, South Carolina. She is single and has two sons, Perry Jr. and Christopher White. She has traveled overseas in West, Germany, Italy, Holland, Hawaii, Austria and South Korea where her oldest son Perry Jr. was born. She also served in the United States Army for three and an half years. She is presently living in Charlotte, North Carolina.
