About the Book

I set my heart to know truth in a world that seems to be far from it, as we’re taught, but if you’re careful to be observant you can see through the mess. A life of extremes from childhood up, times of intense struggle, and times of rest, I’ve seen UFO’s, and angels, encountered demons, heard the voice of God, seen Him work miracles in my life and the lives of others and there’s no question in my mind that He is real. I’ve moved extensively around the country, studied with many different denominations and have to conclude it’s a personal thing between God and you, He has already given us His guide book, but many have trouble reading it correctly. I’ve been shunned by groups of Christians because I wouldn’t join their movement but I had made it clear from the beginning I wasn’t going to join them, and it’s to their shame and it is not love. I’ve committed lots of sins as a wreckful youth and amazed that God still loves me even though, my adult years are spent trying to move closer to God but there are times I sucker for the deception as most do, just being truthful. I hope these poems bring some light in your life, cause you to think and move you closer to where you need to be, and if anything seems as though someone else said something similar I promise you I didn’t steal it, two people can have the same thoughts, in fact the most I read of any kind of poetry is maybe a plaque on a wall – like “Footsteps in the Sand”, and it’s because I don’t want to fill myself with others ideas, I did however immerse myself in Dr. Suess as a child. It’s ok to disagree, some poems are delightful, some insightful, some of love, some of wrath, take the benefit of my experience, believe me there’s many times I’d rather died then go through certain things, but I got better with the trials. I started writing music thirty years ago but never published anything, this work is all new with the exception of 3 of those songs form long ago, I’ve been real busy learning and juggling the cares of life until now, so I’ll pray that you enjoy this, and if so, will again put the pen to the paper.
