About the Book

To my family and close friends: Do you think that you know me? Read this book and think again! To all readers: Do you think that you know yourselves? Take a pen, typewriter, computer or all three and write about your life. You might be in for a big surprise. Everyone has an interesting story to tell. I just did not realize that by relating mine, I was going to feel so good! I always thought of myself as a man of action. I did not have a clue that I am a man of reaction. There are so many passages of my life that, perhaps for my own protection, had been blocked off my mind. When I discovered them while I was writing this book, some of them made me cry; others made me jump and exclaim, “No wonder I act as I do!” I would like to add that writing this book has left me with a very refreshing feeling. It is like going to confession or taking a shower and coming out “squeaky” clean. Many times, during these works, I thanked God because at certain points of my lif, things could have gone the opposite way. That would have been devastating! Salió bien
