About the Author

Anna Sara Kreiner was born in Wyncote PA in 1968, the youngest of three children. She attended Yale University and the University of Pennsylvania graduating Summa Cum Laude and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. She later earned a MPH from UCLA. Her love of reading led to an interest in writing and her constant companions were a notebook ,a typewriter and eventually a computer. Over the years she tried her skills as researcher, children’s writer, essayist and poet. She had the good fortune to see some of her pieces published. The content in this collection is a sampling of some of her other works written between 1993 and 1996. Included is a copy of the last letter on February 9, 1996 she sent looking for a publisher. Anna also battles an eating disorder(anorexia) for much of her life and eventually succumbed to the ravages of the illness on February 10, 1996 at the age of twenty seven.
