About the Book

This book was conceived during a visit to Palm Beach, where Patricia Munson Duncan is a long-time resident. As Patricia drove friends Cheryl Geary Schultz and her mother Thelma Geary through the community, they were enchanted by the varied entrances and gates of this historic area. In response to this delightful experience, the book "PORTALS OF PALM BEACH" was created. The photos are organized by the time of day they were taken. The poems are a collaborative effort between Cheryl, daughter Kimberly Lynn Schultz, and friend Patricia. Photographs were taken by Cheryl as Patricia drove her on this photographic adventure. As you page through this book Patricia, Cheryl and Kim hope you will enjoy their photographic driving tour of historic Palm Beach and enjoy the sentiments that they felt during their drive.

About the Author

Cheryl Geary Schultz and Kimberly Lynn Schultz (Cheryl’s daughter) did the photography for this book and worked with Thelma on the poetry. Patricia Munson Duncan, a 25 year resident of the place she loves… Greenwich, CT. She was our ‘tour guide’ and located the gates and gateways shown in this work. Without her help and guidance, this book would never have come into fruition.
