About the Book

In a time of rebellion and revolution, we've made the conscious choice to be openly daring and write this book. We're fighters - each day we fight like hell in our words and actions, both offline in our communities and in life, hoping to prove people wrong about the power of poetry and spoken word. We're dreamers - our ideas and writing acknowledge our reality but it also challenges those around us to imagine beyond it.

About the Author

Michael Mohan Joshua graduated from the University of Michigan where he earned a Bachelors of Science in Psychology and Film Video Studies. He also earned a Master's of Fine Arts in Film Production from Full Sail University. He previously produced , directed and wrote an Indie hit titled "With Nobody"

Latoya Vines-Derrick, a visionary, creator and entrepreneur, was born and raised in Dallas, TX. She graduated from Full Sail University with a Master's of Fine Arts in Film Production and a Bachelor of Science in Recording Arts.
