About the Author

Born in Chicago and raised in Northern California, Lynette demonstrated her art talents as a teenager via poetry, clothing design, and sculpture. Following college, graduate school, two children, and a professional career cut short by a chronic illness, she re-engaged with art. Lynette completed a variety of college art courses over the next few years. Encouragement from art professors and success at art shows reinforced her desire to learn and create. Plein Air became her passion with Northwest Florida’s wonderful landscape her favorite subject. Lynette Miesen is an award winning artist. Her art is viewed in private galleries throughout the country.
