About the Book

Fighting Fools And Demons is a story torn out of today’s headlines. Iran, suffering greatly from the sanctions imposed opin it by the United States, sponsored a Hezbolla raiding party to enter the U.S. and kidnap a high official to be used as ransom to eliminate the sanctions. The Hezbolla joined with a New York State Militia group to carry out this mission. Tessie Santini, the much-decorated Commander of the F.B.I. Counter-Terrorism Unit in Albany, learned of the training grounds of the Militia. Together with another Agent, Tessie camped near the training grounds to observe their training program. They were captured, interrogated, tortured, and Tessie’s partner was killed. Meanwhile, Joseph Robeson, the adopted Muslin son of Tessie’s sister Marcie, tried to join the Israeli Army on his 18th birthday, to avenge the Hezbolla killings of his birth parents. The Israelis enlisted him in the Shabach, the most elite of the Israeli secret organizations. He was sent to Lebanon where over time he gained the favor of the Hezbolla and was invited to join their ranks. He was trained and sent to the U.S. with the Hezbolla raiding party. The book is full of action from beginning to end, entwined with unusual love entanglements, touching reunions, and the Hero Santini Family coming from world-wide places to help rescue a family member.
