Naomi Hollimon has been inspired to write by drawing on her personal experiences throughout her life. She was born in raised in Texas were she began her early writings of poetry and short novels. She later went on to earn her Bachelors in Journalism where she knew this passion was something she needed to continue pass the classroom. She now is dedicated to reaching the public by bringing awareness issues that we all face and need guidance in dealing with. Her focus lies mainly with the mental health community and her desire to fight the stigma against its members. Reading her work will bring a great deal to the topic’s understanding and focus.
