About the Book

Enough is Enough is David Dalton´s first book, written in 2001, following his graduation from southern Missouri´s College of the Ozarks. Since publishing the book, he has gone on to become a paramedic and instructor for emergency medical services, and is preparing to publish a second book in late 2008. Enough is Enough is Dalton´s classic work which delves into common life struggles with the "no-nonsense, common sense" approach for which Dalton is known. His background in psychology and his traditional Christian worldview served as the foundation for this easy-to-read, and down-to-earth book which addresses such relevant topics as overcoming relational conflict, breaking addictions and other destructive life patterns, defeating stress, and understanding the Bible´s position on homosexuality, alcoholism, and anger.

Unique from similar texts, Enough provides an intriguing spiritual warfare tie-in that takes all of these day-to-day topics and provokes the reader´s imagination to understanding how our struggle really is against more than mere flesh and blood. In fact, the book concludes with the short story, “The Guardian: A Tale of the Spirit Realm,” a vivid account of Christ´s power in the life of a common believer. In the spirit of the classic Pilgrim´s Progress, The Guardian is a revealing glimpse into the connection between physical reality and the workings of the spiritual realm.
