About the Book
“Tales and Reflections of an Old Fashioned Gentleman” defines the Author as an unwavering Conservative and great believer in the importance of traditional values. To prove his convictions, he boldly commences with an Essay entitled “It Was Better…When It Was Worse!” in which he analyzes past qualities of Western middle-class life, which Mr. Civita believes were considerably more desirable than present day realities and trends. Undoubtedly interesting, gripping and entertaining reading, the book also includes twenty-one real-life stories, some dramatic, some tender and some humorous, referred to the Author’s own experiences as well as those of members of his family and friends.
