About the Book

March, 2006: As the nation´s capital faces a long, hot summer against the backdrop of the divisive Iraqi war, one man stands apart in the purity of his loathing for George W. Bush. That man is Calypso Greener, a politically correct journalist for a liberal news magazine, who is so sure that Bush is the root of evil and so desperately wants to see him do the perp walk, that he will do anything to achieve his goal. In these days of political chaos, there are many others in Washington D.C. who feel the same way and when fate intervenes and sends Calypso into the orbit of Senator Bruce Slash (D-West France) and journalist Vanity Hair, she of the perfect coif, the stage is set for a hilarious replay of the Watergate break-in.

About the Author

The author is a graduate of Texas A&M University and a retired engineer. He was born in Texas and has lived most of his life in the Lone Star State. He is a prolific writer and has completed ten works of fiction. Though all of his other novels have been adventure stories or science fiction, in the spring of 2006 he was inspired by the insane press coverage of Vice President Cheney's hunting accident and attempted a satire. The efforts of the MSM to Get Bush! provided a surfeit of material to lampoon and thus Calypso Greener was born.
