About the Book

What lamb has nerve to walk into a lion’s den with intent to take over the whole pride? This story is about such a lamb from the tribe of Judah. The mystery of this bold king of lambs is relayed by two saints, Carl and Hesper. Though they have graduated to heavenly places, these two saints with the help of their angels Narro and Afigitis, soon realize that their true learning has only just begun. Though they freely walk and talk with the likes of Abraham and Moses, it is in the face of the Lamb that they find their greatest pride and joy as they behold a living mystery that never fades in power and glory. The more they learn of the mighty Lamb upon the throne, the greater and dearer he becomes to them. Even surrounded by elders and innumerable angels, the Lamb is still small enough to intimately commune with them as if only they mattered. Nevertheless, as these two saints continue to grow amidst angels and children of God from others worlds that existed long before Adam drew his first breath, they soon realize that heaven is also a place with far too many memories.

As Carl and Hesper learn the story of how Lucifer became Satan and was then cast out of heaven with his angels, they soon unravel a tragedy that proves difficult to fathom. Even after a thousand years in heaven, amidst a vast network of angels and other redeemed from every tongue, nation, tribe and people; Carl and Hesper soon become homesick for the only place they truly remember as home. As this longing intensifies, heaven itself becomes dismantled by God, as angels and saints look toward the earth that is destined to be their eternal home. Heaven is truly made to come down, for the Father himself gives the lowly earth a glory that causes her to proudly sing, “Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life.” Revelation 22:17

About the Author

Born in Brooklyn New York and raised in the Virgin Islands, Charles is an artist that lives in Maryland with his wife and daughter. Charles has now written two novels based on stories and drawings he was often requested to tell when he worked as a Counselor for troubled youth. In most of his stories, Charles attempts to invoke the reader to deep thought by stimulating the imagination with images and emotions that will hopefully span the spectrum of the readers’ psyche. Charles once aspired to become a minister, but recognized his independent style of thinking did not always coincide with the traditional grain of religious dogma. ‘Sons of the Morning’ is a compilation of dreams, ideas, experiences and personal interpretation of religious ideology.
