About the Book

Classical Bible stories retold with playful, prayerful imagination for the children of today. Questions at the end of each chapter are designed to encourage healthy discussions among the readers: parents with children, teachers with students or friends with friends.

About the Author

Carol-Ann was raised in the small town of Waterloo, Quebec, about seventy miles east of Montreal. After finishing her education in nursing, her love of children caused her to move to the big city to work at the Montreal Children’s Hospital. There, she met and married her husband of twenty-seven years, Dr. Samuel Quansah. Carol-Ann has continued her nursing career by working in her husband’s busy paediatric practice while raising their own four children: Samuel, Joyce, Charlotte and Daniel. Because of their personal faith in the God of the Holy Bible, both Carol and Sam have been active members of their home church, Verdun Community Church. One of Carol-Ann’s favourite tasks for the last eighteen years has been teaching children of the church. Her personal challenge has been to retell the Bible stories accurately and yet vividly so that the children can feel like they are dancing and singing with Miriam as she plays her tambourine on the Red Sea shore, or standing triumphantly with Joshua watching the walls of Jericho crumble, or kneeling quietly with Jesus as He prays through the night in the Garden of Gethsemane. Carol-Ann now wants to further the challenge by writing these stories for many more children to experience.
