About the Book
If you are an animal lover, you know how much love your pets give you in return. The laughs and companionship and warmth provide an intense bond with that special pet. That relationship is what I had with Copper. She was my buddy. She was my friend. Of course, having pets is not always easy or fun and games: there is pet food to buy, litter boxes to clean, and vet bills to pay. But the hardest part is losing that beloved pet after years of care, concern, and hugs. This book is for all those people who have ever loved and lost a pet. It is for those that are about to make that difficult decision with an aging animal. It is a book to help adults make that decision and to help children understand. It is a book also filled with great memories and fun times with a great dog and all the other animals that call my house their home as well.
About the Author
Ned and Dru Schillow grew up in the town of Skippack, Pennsylvania, fascinated by the story of the sinking of the Titanic, prompted by watching the two grand movies of the 1950s that told this story, “Titanic” and “A Night to Remember.” After writing and publishing Titanic Hearts, and a book about pets entitled Life Without Copper, they decided to return to the Titanic for their next adventure in writing.
