About the Book
A Pet for Penelope is a lighthearted story of a small child and her search for a pet and a best friend. Penelope realizes that with the help from mom, a special friend and a dream can be attained.
About the Author
Ronnie is a nurse and an educator, with a B.A. in Speech Communications, a B.S.N. and M.S. in Nursing from the University of Wisconsin. She is an active member of the Wisconsin Nurses Association. She has been honored by the Wisconsin Nurses Association receiving their 1993 and 1995 Image of Nursing Award, and was a nominee for the American Nurses Association 1994 Search of Excellence Award. Ronnie has written over 20 professional articles, two videotape programs, two nursing reference books, Just the Facts and Mosby’s Pocket Guide Series: Basic Skills & Procedures , both published by Mosby Inc., St. Louis. She is a member of the Wisconsin Fellowship of Poets and the International Society of Poets and have had several poems published. Ronnie is listed in the Who’s Who in American Nursing, 1996-1997, and in Who’s Who in American Women in their 1997-1998 and the 1999-2000 editions.
