About the Author

My name is Angela Wilson and I was born in Monroe, Louisiana but was raised in Little Rock Arkansas. There I won numerous amounts of awards. I won The Arkansas State Bowling Championship in 1973. In 1973 I came in second place in the Arkansas State Spelling Bee Championship. In 1975 I was an honor Student at Fuller Junior High School. And in 1977 we won first place in the Arkansas State Choir Championship. Then in 1978 I moved to Sacramento California were I also won several awards. In 2003 I won first place in a poetry contest. Second place in another poetry contest. I was given a Honors Award at American River College where I was an Honor Students for four semesters. I have four sisters and two brothers and two loving parents by the names of Ollie Leftridge and Thurman Gregory. My sister Jackie Gordon supported me every step of the way so did my Sister Tosha who is helping me with my next book.
