About the Book
Claudia Russell is a retired 65 year old nurse living in Tipp City, Ohio. In her 23 years working in nursing homes, she recounted stories of her childhood to many patients who then shared their memories to her and other residents. These stories were also told to her 10 grandchildren and she hopes they will be recorded now for her two great-grandchildren. Childhood memories are fun to relive and provide the reader a way to travel back in time to another place and adventures. A happy place, where loving grandparents, butterflies and dressing up seem as though they just happened yesterday and they remain in your heart forever.
About the Author
Claudia Russell, a native of Sanford, NC, is a retired nurse living in Tipp City, Ohio. In celebration of the birth of the newest addition to her family, a baby girl, Makenzie Noel, born November 10, 2006, to her granddaughter, Lauren Thomas, she decided to write a book for her grandchildren and great grand children so they would understand their place on the family tree and instill in each of them a true sense of family. She is the author of “Going to my Grandparents’ House” and is presently working on at least 20 other children’s books, most of which are inspired by her childhood memories.
